Every summer when mid-August rolls around it’s time to stop production and get the annual photo prepared. Each season we look for a new concept in showcasing my delightful hand knit pumpkins. This year we rolled the green granny wagon filled with pumpkins with the new crop from the Star Barn Pumpkin Factory out to our front yard where we placed a vintage cabinet amidst the sage and grasses.

What a wonderful scene it was, with bright, colorful pumpkins reflecting the first rays of su!

It was so much fun to display the pumpkins that way. So I’ve decided to bring the cabinet to artique in Kamas for our First Friday, Sept. 3 Pumpkin Patch Opening Party. You can see it filled with pumpkins from September through Thanksgiving at artique. Stop by Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

You can also find a selection of pumpkins at Park City Gardens on Utah 224 in Park City, and at Brambles & Blossoms just south of Provo on US89.

Enjoy this look back at pumpkins past.

During the heart of COVID in 2020, we produced pumpkins and did our photo shoot out in the grasslands of Silver Creek.
In 2019 we photographed the pumpkins in an antique buggy seat in front of the Star Barn rock wall.
Our pre-dawn shoot in 2018 was one of the very best ever with the new Star Barn Silver Creek in the background.
Gorgeous sunset light for the 2017 Pumpkin Patch in the Silver Creek fields.
